Exhaust manifold.

My exhaust manifolds rattle like an old tractor. So I thought I would have a look on eurospares to see how much replacements would be. After lifting my jaw off the floor, price wise. I also realised that the parts diagram did not look like my manifolds. According to the Eurospares diagram there are two versions. One has four pipes leading to a four bolt flange with no catalyst or four pipes leading to a collector/ catalyst(?) leading to a two bolt flange. However my manifolds have four pipes leading to a collector/ catalyst(?) leading to a four bolt flange rather than a two bolt flange.
Does anyone else have a similar arrangement or do I have some kind of hybrid system?

The four bolt one is the Euro 3 car, it’s usually on the older cars and doesn’t have the catalyst integrated in the manifolds. Its considered the better one of the two.

You probably have double skins and the problem could well me solved by a spot weld across the heatshields

If your car is standard it will be very unlikely that it will deviate from the two options you mentioned. Post up a picture, we will be able to tell you what you have.

Catman is also correct, if you have a rattle it can be resolved with a punch to move the outer skin into contact with the inner and a spot of welding.

That is what Matt at Giallo thought and is what he attempted to do but to no avail.
