Evening All... another newbie

Good evening to all that read this.
Well where do you start when introducing oneself... First of all I must say that of all the forums I browsed, this one made me laugh, wake up and is WELL informative on quite a few issues.
Have two babies that have not seen black stuff for sometime now, kids have been on to me to "Get them sorted" ! So this weekend was a shock to them when the Old man was out with battery charger and jump leads. Batteries on charge, so thought I would browse the computer of knowledge. Came across this forum, read a bit, had a laugh and thought I'll register.
So here is another nutter for your collection.
Hope to learn from experience and threads posted on this forum.

QP different matter, Transmission fault, usual sensor/electrical fault. Need to stick her on diagnostics to investigate further. Had her running for 10mins then cut out and now no joy

Going to sort 3200 out first, should have her new parts by thursday, so she'll be hitting the road next weekend Lads can't wait.
QP is parked in a **** of a position, so I'm going to play with one or two things first as I like to find out why things go wrong. Then off to garage, have not decided who to take it to as yet !

Just a suggestion regarding the cutting out... If it has been stood for over 6 months it may well be the unleaded fuel breaking down! The old leaded fuel was stable and would run fine after many years even but unleaded has a shelf life of just a few months. My neighbour had major grief with a jag until this was found to be the fault = it still looks like fuel, smells like fuel but is just will not burn!

Suggestion is spot on Newton ! Fuel is defo 1 issue. Looks like the fags have to go away for that job .

Good to know Newton.......but suspect the Lancia fuel lines to be gummed up as the stuff eventually evaporated over 30 odd years

First things first I think...
1. Drain the fuel
2. Bleed brakes
3. Clear ECU
4. Check fuses/sensors
5. Buy some nice expensive fuel !
6. On hands and knees and pray to the Italian gods !!!!
