Dropping into neutral

Sitting at traffic lights for like say 1min in 1st gear. Drops in netutral by itself. Is that normal in a QPV ?. Car drives perfect and changes gears perfectly.

Neither of my GranTurismo mc shifts have ever done that with the F1 box, so not sure it's normal.
Maybe clutch time? What mileage has it done?

My QP does if I don't keep the brake pedal pressed. If not it drops to neutral after about 1 or 2 mins with handbrake on or off. Confused the MOT guy no end....

I've never never spend more than a few seconds stationary, in gear without foot on the brake, so maybe mine does this too.

I used to pop it into neutral at the lights, lights change, I forget, 7k revs in a nanosec and no forward progress.....

So I stay in 1st at lights with foot on brake

Both my MC-S and the Stradale do this, I believe it's normal, but now I pull both paddles and drop into neutral when stopped

Its normal if your foot isnt on the brake. Hill holder will hold it for a couple of seconds if your hand brake isnt on. Its to save wear on the clutch.

If your foot isnt on the brake and it jumps to neutral or your in neutral and you select first and nothing happens then that can be a sign of clutch issues ahead.

It can also be a random glitch that sorts itself out when the gearbox stops having a senior moment.
