If you ever see any De Dochter van de Korenaar beers in the Supermarkets/beer shops, give them a go...
Too far to visit as it is near the Dutch border, but worth googling the name and look on the map to see what I mean about 'near the Dutch border' ;) (oh, those ancient feudal times).

I was never sure if you're meant to take it out of the holder or use the upright as a handle?

I'm fuckked, walked 10kms today up and down dale - Lux City is lovely, apart from round the station, drug dealers dealing without any police intervention....

I'll sleep tonight but I have a craving for a Meat and Potato Pie, @Wiganer will understand, he'll eat a pie in a barm for brekkie...

Kwak is a great beer, from the same stable as Triple Karmeliet - another must try.
For quirky glassware, try La Corne du Bois Despendus Black & Triple (brewed by Ebly - about 25 miles MW of Arlon) - not bad beers and fun to drink!

I'm gonna have to knock it on the head for a bit I think! Been a bit ill since I weekend, flair up of cellulitis which I always get on occasions like this, new country etc, subconscious stress probs. Luckily I have a stash of anti-bios - not took em tho - think I ride this one out. Then I had a dodgy burger and got the shivers in bed two nights ago and not slept much since. Most excellent stinky diarrhoea, smell made me want to chunder but I'd eaten nowt after the burger so I was dry-heaving.

I know when I eat something it's gonna do me, like that Everton Meat Pie in 1986. Off work for three weeks, proper food poisoning.

Anyway, appetite coming back, poo less rancid, in fact, starving now (not for poo), start simple, cheese sandwich or soup....

Just need a full eight hours. Also temp. AirBnb, while ok, isn't making me feel good, can't complain, just not right for me so looking at either an apartment here in Arlon her, very cheap or a room in a shared house in Belair, the poshest part of Lux and a lot nearer work when we eventually get to go in.

More news as it happens, photographer on site.....

Looking forward to an update on the beer front eventually!
As much as I like a decent pint, I do miss my Belgian beers (do have 80 bottles for Westvleteren 12 in a cupboard though ;))

They have 0% Leffe and even Leffe in cans, both of which are not on....
