I don't think I've ever seen a car in negative equity from a garage bill  surely when told 11k to fix it most people would just write it off, if it was that bad the £54 MOT would've been the end of it for me.

What kind of bolts cost £38 + vat each

He spent £2570 on it the year before to fix the drivers side window , for that price as long as it went back up, Lights on window down would work for me :D

Thought it was a bit cheap. Door switch and window mech.
If your window drops it its often the 'regulator' failed. Many here have a weld repair after removal, then re-fit. It is a pain to do on most cars, so for a first time DIY job most hand it over. I certainly did and got a smaller bill than ^^^. Next time I would certainly DIY and accept all 10 skinned knuckles.
If the rain is soaking your leather lined luxury car, what choice is left?

I was joking, but seeing as you like a broad brush, how should I portray the following experiences I have had?

Tried to get a replacement part for a tap from a company in Birmingham. It’s 8 years old but no longer available.

I needed cable sizing calculations from a company in Sweden in mid July but unfortunately it is traditional that Swedes take most of July as leave.

Personally I have not decided that England makes **** taps and that Swedes are lazy gits. You make of it what you will.

Reminds me of when I tried to get a replacement ceramic 'hot / cold' thingy for a shower lever and was told I had to by a whole new valve as they don't to the ceramic thingys, even though the handles unscrew themselves all the time, pitching the ceramic thingy to the shower tray to shatter. Grr...

That's frightening.
Unless further info don't like when the labour is quoted as a cost, without the number of hours booked/hourly charge.

If I was in the market for a QP and the clutch was good that one would definitely be top of the list @ 9k , even as a breaker if something big broke the subframe and wishbones must make the car worth at least 5k as they're new

I'll let you know.
It will be going to Southampton for a week with Matt from Monday, so for now I only have it for the weekend.
Front suspension bushes.
Then, after that.......
