There is a reference in the article to Rossignolo - a former boss of Lancia and Zanussi...:D

I think Lancia's were made out of the same metal as washing machines weren't they..

That De Tomaso looks like a Ford at the front.

Was rather hoping there wouldn't be a come-back car from Dee to the Emm (assole) Some things are best left in the pages of history - De Tomaso, like scurvy and pop socks falls into that bracket (IMHO)

Not a fan then Miles....It was a sort of car that didn't know where it came from....

Looks like one of the new Jags...and they look like Lexus/toyota

Jelly moulds the lot of em , I love the early De Tomassa's , Lewis's mate has a concours one , usually at all the shows and normally takes a prize or two , but i agree with miles should be left in the anals of nostalgic history , he became too affiliated with the yanks and lost his way , a bygone era in my book

The Pantera was a huge success in its day and with a yankee V8 it was bullet proof and a cheap to run alternative to Ferrari and Lambos

i love the 72-74 Panteras. Some will remember the burgundy one at Auto Italia? (OOI chap who owns it was the first UK importer of Harley Wax, apparently - his car was the reason I bought it!). like the interiors, love the engine bay and those exhausts. Plus a real beastie in terms of performance I will own one before I die! :) This ones for sale if anyone wants to go halves ;)

Simon all this nostalgia makes me feel very old............The Pantera might have been the poor man's supercar but was still way out of my range at the time.I had to content myself with my Marcos 3 litre
