Good shout.Watch yes, play, not so sure.
a ODI at The Rose Bowl I am happy to organise.
It’s great, beer and food easy to get, relax for 8hrs in the sun and get slowly sozzled.
Mark, it's a super ground to watch as you can see the pitch from almost every angle slowly circumnavigating via the bars! I went on very short notice to the last day of the India test match a couple of years ago when we had all day to bowl them out and win the test. Had a school event in the morning but dashed down in the GTS and drove straight into one of the VIP car parks, much to the joy of the young car park attendants. I told them I had very little ground clearance so they allowed me to park right by the exit, saving the usual 90 mins queue to escape at the end of the day! They so loved the car that they forgot to check if I had a ticket or pay for one! Heard the crowd cheering as I walked into the ground worrying I had missed it all but India made a game of it and held on well into the afternoon.Still never been to the Rose Bowl, I’m in!
Never been to a cricket match. Don't understand the rules. Held the record for the most consecutive Golden Ducks at my school (6).
Apparently that's not a good thing though.
But if it involves beer. I'm in!
