Corona Convoy....?

I’m thinking of taking the TT out for a thrash tomorrow; the scuffers are unlikely to be able to keep up (bearing in mind I was trained the same way) but if they can stop me, I’ll say “social distancing” and f*ck off before they get back in their helicopter! life has never been better!!!

Just saw you have an rs. What a lovely machine, fast and grippy.

Can't see me taxing much this month. Maybe the Outlander and Alfa only. The TVR needs new MOT this month but may need to wait. The rest can be rested for a month I think.
Have an MOT due in April. I heard that MOT's may be suspended for a while, so does anyone know if we still need MOT's to be renewed (so insurance remains valid) and are MOT test stations considered essential?

Nice afternoon for a blast in the Spyder, roof down obviously, as someone else mentioned, didn't stop or speak to anyone so ideal social distancing. Too much sun to waste with no work to do!

^^^ as already said above, most of my drives are to my own house, Often set off for milk, but never find any :D. In the QP I could get a one pint bottle and whack it in the armrest fridge.

I fancy an early morning blast through the empty streets of London, but dear I will end up all over the net, if not the evening news!!

A local run out into the Chilterns at the week end will have to do !

MOT 6 month extension for any MOT due from 1st April has just been announced by the Govt. As many of our fun cars are now not being used and probably SORN’d, this seems sensible and fairly safe to do. Saves a few £ too!
