Contact from HQ

Just had a call from Maserati HQ this morning.
Thought it was a scam at first, but had details sufficient to reassure me.
Wished to ensure that I still had the GT, that I was happy with her and what aspect made me have her.
Looks puckka, and checked on the Maserati website the responses that I had.
Anyone else having calls from HQ?

I did have a market research from a Company from France about 1 year ago. Lots of questions about "feelings" of ownership.
Then a follow up email with a few more questions.
I made a point that I felt the sound, looks, exclusivity and Ferrari partnered engine were most important. Well looks like the Ferrari part didn't matter and likely was already in demise. Interview was over 20 minutes.

Sounds like they're gearing up their after sales to get bums on seats with the replacement coming soon!

I personally feel Maserati should take a leaf out of Ferrari's book with the '7 year free servicing', perhaps 3-4 years is sufficient for a Maserati.

They have never contacted me for any reason ever. Must be on their naughty list.....

Ferrari, on the other hand, call every other month and email all sorts of nice event invitations. Clay pigeon shooting at Gleneagles and a shot in a Lusso, invite to the factory for the Roma launch, or calls to buy my car back as the "need" stock (and want me to but something else!).

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be on Maserati's list particularly, however it is amazing that i'm not and shows how rubbish they are at marketing.

And surely it would Maserati of Wales, @dickygrace ? :)

Yes, today, I had missed this thread, they’ve been trying for at least a week, so clearly keen to ensure they have cleaned their database.

I had three contacts from Dick Lovett in Swindon...
One to invite me to a Levante test day.
One to un-invite me when I told them I had no money, but would be happy to speak well of them to my rich friends.
One to tell me that they were no longer selling Maseratis, because they seemed to be struggling to engage with potential buyers.

The Mrs took the call, someone from Maserati Italy called. They sent me an email with a code, it let me into a page with my personal details but I couldn't change anything. All a bit strange.

Then this morning I had another email saying this.........
