I have to agree, mouth/throat/lung cancer is always worth it to show your affluence with a mouthful of leaves. Fwiw, having spent much too much time on a cancer ward, I can say crack on guys but your future maybe isn’t quite as splendid as you thought it might be.

I resisted for a bit, but I’m going to have to comment on this.
Benny, your comment on here is totally unacceptable. Clearly you have a strong opinion about smoking, but coming on this thread, ramming your goodie two shoe opinion about cigars, down everyone’s throat (excuse the pun) is just plainly unacceptable.
You don’t like it, fine, you think everyone smoking cigars will get cancer, up to you. Who are you to come on here and tell me what to do?
It smacks of self righteousness, and doesn’t belong here.
For all I care, go become a vegan, stop eating processed food, don’t drink alcohol… but do not tell me how to live my life.

I have absolutely zero interest in what you eat, smoke or spend your money on. If it works for you, buy cigars at £200 a pop and smoke 3 at a time, it does not concern me in the slightest. Enjoy. One question though; why such a vociferous outburst at the mention of cancer? It almost smacks of you being in denial that smoking cigars MAY increase the chance of mouth, throat or lung cancer. I didn’t say don’t smoke cigars, all I said is that I‘ve spent far too much time in a cancer hospital, you put two and two together and exploded. So, please, pretty please with sugar on top, go ahead and enjoy your affluent hobby and never tire of sharing it with other people, we mere mortals are in awe. X

What I don’t understand is why you have to come on here with your negativity and doomsday prognosis.
There’s a few of us enjoying this thread and sharing some memories. There’s absolutely no need to rip us down like that.
Is it because you didn’t get the action man with the kung fu grip for Xmas and so you have to go and break the other kids toys..?
