We leave Radio 2 on for the dogs to keep them company during the day.
They like Chris Evans too...

Although of the two dogs, Dave has always been the car fan

I have met Dave, he is a character, you will have to stop him from cocking his leg and washing visitors alloys though!

How about we try and get him on the forum, slim chance but if I send him a mug and a login, and we all blanket email him on his breakfast show, you never know.

Then maybe we can have an event at his pub in Surrey and see if we can't get him to bring the 'weapon' with him???

Have tried to contact today Matt.....will see if we get a response.

Well last time he was next door in the pub I made Pauline go in and have Chris sign my car book which had the 3200 listed and he signed it whoopee. He lives less than a mile from me and I think a letter of introduction is required, plus a pretty please, begging letter to meet him and his cars!!!!!

I have just come off the phone to Chris and have made him an offer he cannot refuse. Basically, the deal I have struck is that he will be invited to the next meeting at the Ace Cafe. This is in return for me buying him egg and chips and a cup of the Ace's finest tea and he is prepared to lend me the GTO for the weekend

Thank goodness you've stepped in Urby. Sports Maserati benefits, as do you in return. Did he ask for your autograph by the way? I assume yes?

Yes he did Miles. I failed to persuade him though to let us have the GTO as a Forum car although he is considering the California

Well he's obviously aware of your considerable driving skills and seen, without a shadow of a doubt (or any chance of troubling third gear), that his prized GTO will be in safe hands. I assume reference the Cali' you broached the subject of a roll cage, stripping the interior and the SM paint-job?

We'd be lost without you Urby. Great effort, great outcome. Do you think we can get the Cali' fettled in time for Llandow?

Bet your bottom dollar Miles , that if he was aware of the MC trip he be up for it to come, Now that idi worth getting Urby to get his missus to sort an intro
