Welcome Mario, go on, let’s have the list of Maseratis you own.
Currently, a low-mileage Assetto Corsa in nero carbonio, a really nice optimized early 3200 ("Modena Power Pac II" with 450hp), a time capsuled 2004 Spyder (Vintage) and a never raced Ghibli Open Cup in Evoluzione specifications with only 55km.
Before I had a beautiful 228i, an optimized QP Evo (also "Modena Power Pac II" with 450hp) and a really stunning Shamal in my small collection. All manual gearbox cars. And some of them (especially the Shamal) I do really miss...

Wilkommen Mario, sounds like you have a very nice collection. I'm surprised no one has asked for photos as yet, so I will. Photos bitte!

Didn't know the 3200 got up to 450bhp... enlighten us. How?

There is a specialist in Neustadt in Germany who is well-known to optimize mainly Maseratis from the very late Biturbo times to real performance sports cars.
Here some insights (unfortunately in German): https://www.modena.de/maserati-ferrari/tuning
And more specifically for the 3200 (up to 590hp!): https://tuning.modena.de/portal-tun...01/14/3200-gt-mpp-2-v8-gt-450-ps-manuell.html
The main increase in power was realized by increasing the pressure for the turbos plus some other stuff. I have to say that in combination with a new KW suspension kit the performance of my 3200 is really impressive as well as very reliable. A fun car to drive!

And as per your request some pics of my current and former Maseratis. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum Mario! Bavaria is a lovely part of Germany.

How did you come by the Ghibli Open Cup? It literally looks like it's ready to be sold from the factory and plastered in sponsorship decals.

Hi there! I got this unique Open Cup directly from the collection of the Samsung brothers from South Korea. It was stored amongst several other Italian sports cars (mostly decorated with pranking horses though ;)) in an aircraft hangar in Frankfurt, Germany as part of their famous car collection. The Open Cup is in full Evo specifications and was never driven (however, very well maintaiend by their car specialists) - a true "time capsule". Anyone interested?

Lovely collection. I remember a blue 3200 for sale in the UK around 2010 , just before I bought my Assetto Corsa, that had the German "optimization" done to it, I remember the 450bhp figure.

Some german tuner, has tuned the 4200 to 551hp with a bi-compressor kit. It was either modena or leonardo, cann't remember as it's been years. A blue med bi-compressor 4200 was for sale for several years on the well known german car site.

Yes, it was Modena from Neustadt. They even won the sports car of the year trophy from a car magazine in 2003 or so. I still have an article/ test from that compressor tuning somewhere. Might post it later...
By the way: I also have a lovely Alfa GTV (916) with a Novitec compressor tuning. Extreme performance of the Busso 3.2 litre V6

Here you go - three pics showing the respective article from "auto, motor & sport" plus two detailed pics of the engine bay with the "bi-compressor" tuning as well as the technical data of all cars in this test... Unfortunately it is in German but some of the pics and the technical data should speak for themselves, right?

Yep. Compressors to be seen left and right just close to the wings. What is strange is that on the comparison, the 0-100 is the same as the OEM, which looks like a typo.
