Recently had a new clutch. When is recently? If it was a year ago and he does 25k miles a year it could be due for renewal, again!

I think this is the one that has been for sale on and off for a while. From memory, this was the car that was in Surbiton or Kingston-upon-Thames and the fell just didnt use it. I think its been through Autosportiva in the past too.

Maybe, it's time for a known Maserati's List on the forum, it would help future buyers.

Registration of car, spec, colour, etc. and last know whereabouts with a mileage, could be kept up to date by moderators/volunteers in the community to ensure it doesn't get used to promote **** cars.

that's a nice looking GS BTW :)

Interesting GD...............not sure about recording all those details on an open forum....maybe some one could advise, it would certainly be a useful resource.

Looks the part.....a lowish price....but the old indie inspection definitely required.

Simon's is £20k and is a year newer, 16000 less miles and is known. If that's the one that was listed earlier, then at Autosportiva, it had no history with it, or partial at best. The new clutch is a good point though. I was looking at it earlier thinking about the price difference. My '02 GS spec 4200 is probably worth £15k give or take. A GS with the same miles isn't much more, depends on the PPI as always though...

Dicky, if Si is selling at 20k then that's the one I would have...As you say lower miles, just had a service and we know the last two owners.......

Its a lovely car for the money Adam....Even the tech cloth doesn't look bad in a silver car...

i would go for Si's car instead of this one, all i would do to Si's car is paint the calipers Yellow.

Well I like my silver calipers. Yellow on a silver car? If they have to stand out surely they should be red?

Here's a photo of mine I took earlier today!

Si you'll have to forgive Adam he has a bit of a yellow fetish.

If it were me I would paint them red or just leave them as it's not going to make any difference to the sale of the car.

Agree, Matt...At this stage leave them as don't think it will make much difference..
