Anyone done this?

I am upgrading my soggy 02 Spyder springs all round to GS springs.

Any pointers appreciated and I will try and do a pictorial.

Definitely better but definitely not cheaper im afraid

I am sure you/FD would sell more if more reasonably priced.
In round numbers, GS springs £100 set, FD springs £1,000 set.
Yes I know R&D has to be paid for, but a factor of 10?
I would love a set, and the anti-roll bars especially, but I just find the prices difficult to swallow, especially in comparison to the vehicles values today.

I am currently in talks with FD to get some discounts or sale organised for the UK market.

The more interest there is, then the more ammo i have with FD to try and make this discount/sale happen.

Noor,I think I've asked you this question before...Do FD do ARB kits for the earlier 3200GT,and if not why not, there's still quite a few out there

Suppose its because non were ever imported into the US

Ding a ling here as we'll along with with the anti roll bar. The right price might encourage me to buy both together.

I think you have answered your own question.
FD based in US, no 3200 sold in US
Unfortunately :-(

Noor...what about organising a group buy? Lot of people here need springs, ARB etc, i need those kevlar pads and the carbon paddles. If you talk to Jeff, maybe you can sort out a good discount.

Check out the Dropbox folder, picture and word guide in there!

Brill looking now, thanks.

...and yes, the early 4200 springs are terrible and at £100 for GS springs its a welcome upgrade.

Noor, echo the above sentiments, £1000 for a set of springs, its just too much. What would tempt me to buy them, £100 each I recon.

I can certainly put something together, but a show of hands for Springs and Arbs would be good to try and twist FDs arm even further. :)

I will try and push for a lower price, but have to be realistic with shipping costs, brokerage costs and import duty etc all adding to the amount that FD charges.

Yes I know the above all add up, the reason why in the US the price in dollars looks more reasonable.
It always appears looking at the US forums that many more owners fit FD springs/ARB's etc as a result.
Would actually be interesting to know how many 4200/GS where sold in the US compared to the UK?
