Here's the new beastie.
Might think of new alloys. And maybe change the front "butterfly" wings for the "cycle" type. Anyway, that's all fun and games for later.

Very nice Ewan and nice easy access by the looks of things too - should be lots of fun when you finally get to take ownership of it

Nice work Ewan.....it will be lovely and lively! I thought my Chimaera 500 at 302bhp per ton was enough. That is bonkers!

Nice one Ewan!!...........Defo agree with you on the alloys, totally wrong choice for a classic lined car, but the front wings I think look quite tasteful in profile (apart from the repeaters, which look so 'Afterthought').

Wheels first and then decide on the wings, you may like them when you realise how much road the front wheels will pick up and try and splatter in your face

The wings look good, but I’ve heard a theory that they act like real wings, and cause lift at high speed. Which sounds...worrying. Hopefully that’s just “fake news” though. But I don’t want to find out it’s true when upside down in a ditch!

There is high speed and high speed!
You will feel like you are doing 100mph at 50 in a Westy!
Don't forget with all that power you also have zero driver aids, hope you are good at catching slides!

I do agree Ewan.....it would concern me too. Is that a common factory part? I thought most were effectively open front wheels with small covers.

Prefer the normal fenders I think.

Like others have said I think there will be better wheels out there.

A 5 spoke design?

It's subtle Ewan I'll give you that! I think it would look quite good on Caterham HPC wheels, assuming they fit, 16" I think and 5 stud.
