The Media strikes again.Just seen this on a news flash.
40 yr old....suspected suicide.
What a shame.
In this case the boyfriend has publicly come out and said the charges were nonsense, other people have had a different view, suppose they knew better so why not print it. Absolute scumbags, without meaning to offend anyone look how long it took to get justice for the 96 after the press absolutely vilified the victims, they are worse than sewer rats.....Now for this sad tale someone , in fact more than one, must be held accountable, every story they ran should be scrutinised.Tragic as any loss of life is, she was charged with assaulting her partner, if the shoe was on the other foot no one would be saying “how sad” or “poor sweet boy”.
I’ve worked with two guys who have been victims of domestic abuse from the wives. One would come in black and blue every Monday morning and we just assumed he went out on the lash and got into fights. One day after about 3 years he didn’t turn up for work. Eventually after a couple of weeks we found out she’d put him in hospital and when he got out he’d run away.
The other one was more mental, she never let him out by himself, drove him to and from work, didn’t let him have credit or bank cards and would check his phone everyday. Eventually he escaped too and told us about it, it’d be going on for 20 years.
It’s reckoned that domestic abuse is split about 60:40 women to men.
A tragic loss of life and it’s a shame she couldn’t find help but let’s not put her on a pedestal.

"I'm tired of the lies and abuse aimed at my girlfriend," he said. "This is not a witch hunt this is someone's life."He didn’t say the charges were nonsense, he said he didn’t want her charged. The police were quite clear that she hit him over the head with a lamp while he was asleep and the wounds were serious enough that they would press charges with or without his cooperation.
Many victims of domestic abuse follow this exact behaviour as they don’t won’t their loved one to get in trouble.
"I'm tired of the lies and abuse aimed at my girlfriend," he said. "This is not a witch hunt this is someone's life."
He added: "Caroline is the most lovely girl. Loyal and kind. She doesn't deserve any of this."
Metropolitan Police said she had been charged with assault by beating. They did not name the victim, but said he was not seriously injured.
So why? Why all the press ****?
Lads knock 10 bells out of each other on a weekly basis up here and i mean10 bells, nothing is done, no charges or anything so what made this case so special as to bring charges? Even the police said the victim was not seriously injured? *** stinks.
To me it's nothing worse than a domestic that has been blown out of all proportion by the Police and the Media, who both now have blood on their hands.
Been there, she came in after a night out, twatted me right on the nose, blood and everything (thinking back this 5hit kicked off every week) which I was quite upset about so after I smashed the telly up in rage she locked herself in the bathroom, that was 20yr ago , that's life and I'm still married. Can't remember the paps asking me for a statement though....As I mentioned before I’ve seen domestic abuse in the relationships of people I’ve worked with and we’ve got to stop considering it “just a domestic.”
No one has any interest in you Benny....Fittingly, I have as much interest in her as she had in me.
No one reads papers anymore... it’s all one the iPhone.. which is even worse! With you on newspapers Martin. Not picked one up for 20 years. They wreck people's lives and all in the name of a story. The news on TV is just as bad.
