I’d love the Scud, but it’s too rich for me. Think it’ll be a bargain at £140k+ fees, about right at £150k+ and top dollar at £160k+. There’s 2 Rosso ones which usually fetch a little more advertised at £175k up at Graypaul & Foskers, and I dare say there would be a deal to be done on them. They’re retail, warranted etc too.

I see this Assetto Corsa didn’t sell at weekend Christmas auction. They now have it up at a Buy it Now of £21k5 …
That’s been for sale a few places in the last 4 years or so. I recall Velvis having it for a year or 2. I think I may have been offered it, but in my opinion that’s retail money if perfect which is a big ‘if’ on a 3200 now they’re all over 20 years old.

The Scud won't sell for anywhere near 100k. The 720 will be 150k+ and I have no idea about the Merc, 120-130k?
For sure, they will move north of there. Given they may all end up closely priced, my point was that the Scud would get my vote (if only I had the spare £150k plus!!)

Yes, I was looking at that, wondering if my wife would like that for the summer. What do you think it will make?
Well the last few have been around £15k on auction sites IIRC - those that have sold anyway - but it bodily it looks good. Interior looks a bit grubby but it’s a 35 year old cream interior, I looked grubbier at 35.
This may be a case of colour being a factor - I’ve not seen a light metallic blue pre-Gandini Spyder before so if two people really don’t like the red most of them come in, then…
Then again it has the - correct me if I’m wrong @dickyb - Zender bodykit which is an acquired taste.

tl:dr: I’ve no idea! Would be great to tour Europe in though. Almost tempted myself.

Nayf this must be one of the last 2.5 versions as I’m sure some 1989 cars are 2.8?

May interest someone

Already watching this one, I think the colour really suits it but not sure on the bodykit, the interior could do with a proper deep clean and would probably come up quite nice. As always it is dependent on the price and how is bidding

As a UK car from that period it could be a mixture of anything, to be honest. It’ll upset rivet counters but the UK importers (which had a tendency to go bust fairly often) largely had to finish the cars off themselves with whatever they had to hand, in two cases via sheds either at Elland Road or Southampton docks. Factory support for the UK was never brilliant.
Add in less than great parts supply in the years since and what The Internet says a car should or shouldn’t have doesn’t often tally with a particular year.
When Meridien took over the concessionaire they bought c30 cars that had been sat around for an indeterminate time and had to make the best they could.
