Can’t turn to cold air.

Any you kind folks help me out.
All I seem to be getting is warm air in the cabin even with the control set to cold, with the normal and the ac.
I’ve read that it could be sticky temp flaps, I did the test with the two buttons pushed in and the controls set to auto and cold and got an E come up on the dash for a second and then it reverted back to the temp.
Not sure if this is the right Eurospares diagram for my problem but if it is can someone enlighten me what part is likely to be playing up on this diagram?
Thanks

First thing I'd do would be to make sure there's enough gas in it, and that the compressor is kicking in properly

Should I still get some cold air with dial turned to blue(cold) and the AC not turned on Catman?

Cool(ish) perhaps, but going to be ambient plus heat picked up heading through the scuttle and ducting. Anything like here, yesterday, that would be well in excess o 25C

I could be well off

I think I’ve got a flap issue as it was **** hot in the cabin before this hot spell.

Well tonight I did the test by holding the buttons and controls set to Cold, Auto Auto and 00 came up, even better news is that when I went for a ride I had something that half resembled cold air, flicked it over to hot, got hot air, flicked it back to cold and it was cold air. Air Con not ice cold so I will go with your first prognosis and get a re-gas.
Thanks

The seals on the doors decompose and turn gummy. Cycling between heating and cooling every week or so reduces the chance of them sticking.
