As I know I am only getting a jumper off the wife, my own fault as said not want anything, after trawling eBay and the web ended up buying a weapons control panel off a tornado and wine stopper and coasters made from hms victory fro the pieces not usable after the rebuild. I am only 33, I might need help. I also considered spending the tax money on a tank

*Help*?! The only help you *might* need is to play with this stuff! *Too* cool!

It wasn't Christmas, but I bought a car whilst drinking, once. That didn't end *too* well, but we've all passed a lot of water since then.

I know a guy like you. He has a couple of old army trucks and a 25lb field gun, limber and tractor. Last I heard he was looking at buying an SPG or small tank.

Very funny eBay can be a nightmare with a drink in your hand.....one bought a nice looking table for my home office without bothering to look at the measurements.....it looked OK in the pictures however when it arrived it was the size of a full size snooker table having been used in some Victorian factory in the past and seated 12! Hey ho!

Truth be told, Dem, I've had three over the years: An Astra 1.6Si, A Vectra 2.5 and a Vectra 2.5 GSi. The GSi spent more time in the garage than on the road!

I've also bought Vauxhalls whilst sober - a lime green T reg (at the other end of the number plate) Chevette, a burgundy Cavalier CDi , a light blue 1.4 cavalier and a burgundy Vectra diesel. Not great cars but not terrible.... apart from the chevette, that was a shed.

I once bought a Rover 800 when drunk. I bought it for £500 off another drunk bloke and sold it the following week for £2, 000 so it wasn't too bad.

In my youth I had a Vauxhall FE VX4/90 and a Viva Sportshatch with the Dropsnoot front end. Both had the thirsty, but wheezy, 2.3 slant 4 SOHC pig iron boat anchor up front. Happy days.

Well, if it's confession time, we used to drive an Old Astra automatic in slug green. Very nasty as I recall.

One of my many student cars was a ratty old Capri 1.6 made mostly from filler... Structural rigidity was so weak the doors opened if you cornered too fast. Good value for £250, though. Never broke down once.
