Buying a quattroporte

I rather like this on at morgan cars. They sold a Stradale recently and have some lovely stock. I would have to rid of that black grill badge but always like silver with red leather and bark wheels.

This looks like my Sport GT but with the ZF gearbox. Mistakenly I thought that ZF gearbox would be a GTS, i.e. Sport GT = DS gearshift.

Agree with another here that a Sport GTS with the DuoSelect is my sweet spot. The gear changes with a clutch and suspension without electronic interference.

Do they ever sell anything ?
I'm looking at Jaguar XK 5.0 and they have had one up several times smelling of Scammers to me.
Bought two cars off them recently mate so yes they do sell stuff. They are open, let you bid and win and as long as you turn up to look/test drive they are fine. If you change your mind you can say no... that's why the cars come back around again because timewasters bid thinking they are getting a mint car and then when they see a small scratch walk away. The cars aren't perfect but there are some bargains to be had. Happy to go there with you if you win something....

Had a mate buy a car there as well... turned up, they just handed us the keys and said we close at 5, have it back by then! It was ok, pretty much as we expected it to be... so took it!

Manheims is just down the road from me, and back in the day had a few cars out from there... always had post auction surprises!!! head in with the right expectations and you get what you pay for! Cheap, not pristine! But with more comeback than with a real auction house!

I have just reduced the price on my 2009 QP 4.7S to £19750 on Autotrader. The car has just clocked 50,000 miles, has had a full service and MOT, has full service history and has had all the usual things fixed like new Variators etc. It is also a great colour combination. ( metallic black on cream leather seats and piano black trim). It also has the GTS grill and new GTS alloy wheels with red calipers. A beauty! It's currently housed at Shilltech ( Loughborough) so if you want to view it at anytime then just let me know and I can arrange it with them . All the best..
STOP PRESS....After consultation with the Shiltech team this week, I have decided to reprice my QP at a 'market busting' £16,950 now. If interested then check it out on Piston Heads or Autotrader for details. Its an absolute bargain....

Guy,

Good news. Richard Grace was picking up a Strad yesterday, offers great rates of finance, and will take your MC Shift GTS in part ex.

Glad to have been of help!

Thanks Ewan, that solves the man maths for me! I tested his current Strad yesterday and liked that one, like new. He had a perfect GS LE there too, which I think was up for sale for less than a week but gone already. Good cars sell, even in tough times it would seem. Cheers
