I did find AGIP sold by a dealer in Long Beach, California on the internet...sold by the case (12 liters) it worked out to cost $13.00 US per liter...plus shipping.

Hi Stoner and welcome to the forum, I found that this lot are a friendly lot!

I always thought that oil was oil as long as they specifications were right and you are not buying an unknown brand, by that I mean AGIP, Shell, Castrol, Mobil are all reputable as are others. Many oil companies 'sponsor' auto manufacturers to mention their brand in the manual. Renault=Elf, Ferrari=Shell, Yamaha=Yamalube etc.

Just make sure you are getting the correct grade/multigrade, not forgetting the SAE spec, and that you check it often for level and darkness. Too dark change it!

Just noticed that it's one year today since I joined this forum. Since then, I've toured it, commuted in it, washed it, serviced it, filled it (a few times), and ragged it round a track, and I've loved every second of driving it and what's best? Is conversing with you guys and meeting some of you at Llandow or Beaulieu passing on your knowledge, your experiences and your friendship to make it even more enjoyable.

Thanks you and here's to another year on the best Maserati forum and Maserati Ownership!

Hope to see you again at Llandow in October (if not before) Martin. Agree entirely with your sentiments after 2 years into Mas ownership !
