;)

All the more reason to have a final say no? To make sure? To be absolutely clear with the facts and details..? Funny I haven’t seen any of our British army and soldiers being deployed by the EU. When was EU army formed? That’s really major! Crikey I saw nothing on the news? Have I missed that? ;) And the small matter of our NATO membership??:D Ohhh I get it, your post was tongue in cheek......my bad, because no one would really be taken in by that would they? :D And talking of Farage wasn’t he just over to Donnie, asking him to put his ore in just last week over Brexit? Or shall we just gloss over that and their “special relationship”. False equivalence, hmmmh it’s a strange condition.............but hey ho its all good in the hood.:)

It's a but like tories claiming that the BBC have a leftist bias then the labour party claiming foul for being aggressive when interviewing Dianne Abbot.
Must be balanced then...

This caught my eye on MSN this morning........................

Brussels says it has completed its preparations for a no-deal Brexit and warned that it is “increasingly likely” that the UK will crash out.
In a statement released on Monday the European Commission said “preparedness and contingency work”, which it has been conducting since December 2017, was now finished.
The announcement comes days after EU leaders agreed to a request by Theresa May to extend the UK’s Brexit date – though not by as long as she had asked for.
Article 50 has now been extended until April 12, meaning the UK will crash out without a deal if it does not pass the withdrawal agreement by then, secure a further extension, or unilaterally cancel the Brexit process.

So the EU has been preparing for a "no deal Brexit" since December 2017. Maybe with a week to go, we should start doing something soon (he says with tongue firmly in cheek). Just, on a scale of one to ten (with one being ****) how sh1t are we?
See my previous comments on our strategy.
This is another EU bluff....of course they're ready, not,
They're trying to turn the screw.

More number manipulation.....interesting science though,

We counted all the people on the Brexit march so you don't have to
WIRED UK
Crowd science is clear: the anti-Brexit protest was one of the biggest in UK history, but it wasn't a million people Read the full story

The Bournemouth Air Festival calculates beach crowd size by a police helicopter photographing a section of crowd on the beach then extrapolate for the whole crowd. How accurate this I'll never know. The section nearest the main pier is always the busiest even on non air festival days as it's most accessible. So very subjective.

Myself and work colleagues have all just discussed the potential impact and what we will do. One of the plus points of working away 1/2 the year is you can live wherever you like. Many have homes, or second homes , in the EU. Spain, Italy , Greece etc.
Overall no one is too bothered, we don't know what will happen, the countries don't know what will happen, so we will all just get on with it and deal with it as it comes.
The Kent economy was never mentioned once though ;)

So she's lost control. if indeed she ever had any in the first place. I would suggest Europe was in total control from day 1.
More resignations.
Chaos.
This imbicile must now go.

By the way Sir Oliver Letwin said this 2 years ago. 40 secs.

He then got elected on this pretty clear promise. His amendment tonight, approved, now allows all of the things he stated we would be doing to be challenged, overruled, destroyed.
Elected liars.
He is of course old school Tory who believes that the people who vote really don’t know what they’re doing when compared to his superior intellect.

Your Sir, are a total W4nker.

Total Brexit betrayal, an "inside job".

Can someone explain this please from the EU’s announcement/ statement under their NO deal preparedness.

“But officials indicated that arrangements for the Irish border are still not finalized.

We are in intense discussions with the Irish authorities about these matters," one EU official said. "We will of course continue and intensify these discussions over the coming days," the official said, adding that the EU is considering options for financially helping Ireland in case of no deal.

While noting that the U.K. is a co-guarantor of the Good Friday Agreement and would in a no-deal scenario have to respect World Trade Organization rules, the official said that in a no-deal scenario, both the U.K. and Ireland "will need to take unilateral and temporary measures to protect legitimate trade, consumer, and public health.

We would again expect the U.K. to live up to its commitment to avoid a hard border while protecting Ireland's place in the internal market."

Asked about physical infrastructure on the Irish border, the EU official said extra controls will be needed but that "we are working very closely with the Irish authorities, we try and perform the controls away from the border." They did not offer details about how this would be done.

What??? You’re not sure if their will be a hard border under no deal.....surely that’s automatic!!

If It can be avoided in a no-deal scenario, how on Earth is it a COMPULSORY NECESSITY under the withdrawal agreement!!!!!!!

This whole thing is a ******* stitch up......Mays NEGOTIATED A DEAL that has a backstop which isn’t even needed!!!!!!

Brilliant negotiating you stupid, useless, dishonest, incompetent, pathetic, weak, humiliated, miserable excuse for a PM.

Why aren’t our MP’s pointing this out!!!!!

SHE’S STILL APPARENTLY GONNA BRING HER DEAL BACK THIS WEEK, despite having no support yesterday for it....isn’t this the definition of madness? Bercow shouldn’t allow it, nothing’s changed.

Her deal leaves Britain without voice, vote or veto over EU law-making and subject to European Court of Justice jurisdiction....oh, and we hand over £39billion we don’t technically owe
And we can’t leave because of a backstop, that gives us no legal right to do so without Europe’s approval......a backstop that appears to be totally unnecessary, UNLESS ITS INDEED THE TRAP WE ALL BELIEVE IT TO BE.

She’s that mad she thinks we all voted for that!!!

How the **** is that Brexit?

Seriously, she needs to F off. She is destroying the country.

Letwin was only trying to explain how HE would negotiate, clearly he didn't agree with the PM. His amendment last night is clear evidence of this, power has been taken by parliament.
Dorset West much like the rest is very deep blue not necessarily to the right of the party but OLD money that doesn't like change or windfarms off the coast.
