Brake Pad Wear Sensor on GT Sport

Hi all, when cleaning the GT today I noticed a brake pad wear sensor cable on the near side front wheel. It worried me as I was using a brush in the the wheel rim and was worried I caught an and pulled on it too hard. Everything seems fine but when I checked the offside front I couldn’t find the cable. Do these cars only have the wear sensor on one side or is something missing (or have I missed something)? Car is 2019 and is on the original disk and pads from new.

From memory, yes it's only on one side.

And it's *so* basic calm your troubled brow. Basically when the pad wears down enough the sensor hits the disc and completes a circuit which turns the light on.
