Such a lovely example. Check the engine shot - Myles has clearly been very busy in there! Shiniest cam-covers award?

Drove a DB9 on a Supercar trackday a few years back and found it quiet, dull & soft. The Ferrari 360 was very disappointing as well. The Porsche 911 Carerra 2S was a joint favourite with the Elise.

On a cross country blast with the SCD Sarah (a decent driver), in a DBS Volante, tried to leave me but couldn't and even in a straight line I was hanging off her ar5e. Oh, how I laughed! Her hubby even said their old DB9 Volante was as quick as the DBS. Mind you, a de-catted DBS with straight throughs is really f...ing loud! :D

Thanks for the positive comments gents.

Not sure what I fancy. Do like the f type and DBS, although the Aston is more than I would like to spend.

Spending anything on an Aston is much too much. The DBS is reputation over substance.

DBS is a great car and so much better then the DB9...and you will not lose money on one as prices are firm but they have gone up of late and a good one seems to be 90k plus. F Type is a great car ... Only driven the V6 S which I loved but can imagine the R with that V8 is bonkers....and they looks stunning.

For about £75k you can get a 2012 Aston Virage. Same engine/power as the DBS, but better looking with smoother lines, and a step up from the DB9 of that era. Though a V12 Vantage can be had for that price as well. Just depends whether you want your Aston to be more GT or sport orientated.

V12 Vantage for 75k would be my choice....and it would be manual as well. Can't see then dipping any lower in price than 75k either. Safe buy that one. Did you mate sell his Ewan ?
