Ah, I missed that, I thought it was Paul walking away and the event would have ceased. If its running it on behalf of another club, its not something I would be interested in.

It is of course possible that no one in the club will come forward and it would then be in everyone's interest if Sportsitalia took it on rather than let it die.. I have been in touch with Paul & no doubt he will respond to your email.
There is of course nothing to prevent the BIAMF being a combined event; as it indeed is at the moment being organised by the IAMC & Ducati Owner Club (Paul in both cases!). ie Sportsitalia/IAMC/Ducati,

I have had contact with Paul already we are due to talk after the weekend.

I would step in and take over the event rather than see it die but if IAMC are going to continue it then its really up to them to find a single person to head it up for them.

25th April - maybe!

Guys, sorry about delay in reporting back. We have found a volunteer ready & willing to carry on with the Festival. We have picked the date - 25th April and the featured marque - Lamborhgini. However, Bristol Council have not yet set their budgets for 2015/16 and the new guy at the Markets Division was taken aback by the level of support we had received in the past - it totals over £4k. So we have to wait to find out what they can cover before we could go ahead. The entry fee will have to rise in any case. As a matter of interest - how much would you be prepared to pay?
Cheers, Paul

Given George Fergerson hatred of cars and motorists I'm surprised he has not barred anything promotion petrol driven vehicles.

Just reading Pauls Mail about BIAMC events, and he mentions that BIAMF is still not certain as the council have not set their budget for this coming financial year and do not know if it will be included!!!!!

Put it this way, it won't be very high on their priority list :(
