Agreed it looks fab. I think the reason you dont see more is that its a bit Ferrari, and would thus assume, that the more discerning Maserati owner, does not want to look like a wanna be Ferrari owner.
Dont get me wrong, it think its perfect, and I have said this before about this colour.
Guys, I think what these posts prove is the variety of colours and combinations that the 3200/4200s look good in!!!
My 4200 has the nero carbonio/cream leather interior.......which for me hits the spot!
Not over keen on the light colour schemes as I think they "hide" or lessen the visual curvaceous aspect of the car......my 2 cents worth.

It's a sincere compliment Frank.
The lines of the Coupe are cleaner than the GS, as a starting point. So in my mind, they look "classic" or more elegant (perhaps better choice of words).
Black on ivory or tan is also in my mind classic/elegant vs. say black on red or black, which are more sporting.
I was told by a Maserati dealer that Mediterraneo Blue was one of the best selling colours but then he was trying to sell me a Mediterraneo Blue car
