Not a big fan of home shopping drivers Adam...One of them hit one of my drivers over and he was off for 8 months....He had stopped for his break outsode Gloucester, got out of his cab and a Gloucester home shopping van came around the roundabout and hit him into next week..I couldn't believe it when the Police called to say what had happened..In the early days they took anyone but think they are a bit more selective now.

UPDATE

I had an interview yesterday for a Business IT apprenticeship for a cleaning company called Maid2Clean. The guy runs the business from his home and lives 1 minute away from me. I feel as though the interview went extremely well and he gave me the impression he very much liked me so fingers crossed, i might actually make it over the last hurdle where i have fallen so many times before in the past.

I spoke to Honda yesterday saying i would consider an apprenticeship with them, they offer the same qualifications as Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes etc.... but pay £154 a week whereas the others only pay £100. I am thinking of applying as i am a bit of a Type R and NSX nut plus the dealer is only 5 mins from me. Emailed the dealership today with my documents after popping in and seeing the service manager this morning.

I really hope i can get something now.

The centre of excellence is where i go for my training and i think it is in London, at the Honda Chiswick dealer, perfect if so, get to see the NSX's there in for TLC.

Your right, nothing wrong with Honda, especially when that VTEC kicks in.

Gosh how jolly decent of you!!! If someone came off the street and told me they would consider an apprenticeship at one of my businesses I'd consider which wall to throw them over!

I'm only kidding Adam, I know from your posts this isn't your attitude!!! Best of luck with the Honda one, I would expect standards to be high. The other job I would be wary of, how much actual progress can you expect to make in a company that size, and how developed will their IT needs ever get? Plenty of small firms look for an "apprentice" to deal with the general stuff they don't want to, and pay zip for it.

Ha Ha Paco, i should have worded my post better.

That is the only issue i have with the small firm, and besides once i get my qualification from them, what happens of they say well there is no job for you? With Honda i would be guaranteed a job with them. The standard for Honda is the same for Porsche and Ferrari, yes they want the best but from what i experienced last year, show enthusiasm, dedication and commitment and you cant go wrong.

Keep at it Adam. There's a motor apprenticeship out there with your name on it. With a bit of perseverance you'll find it.
