Hi All

So this is where everyone had disappeared to!! I was a little slow on the uptake, appologies!
Into my third year with the GS all going well so far, had new discs and pads done at Grimaldi recently. As others have already said, Roberto and his team are without question fantastic, so passionate about the cars and so very skilled. Just thought i would add my 2p worth!
Has any one got a tip on how to stop your window rubber freezing itself to the window on icy mornings!! I use mine daily and this is becoming a problem!!

Thanks

Scott

Hi Scott,

With regards to the window rubber not sticking, I would imagine a non greasy water repellent is what is required, or some form of lube.... Graphite??

On the other hand, drape a sheet over the window by closing it in the door so that you effectively put the window and it's seal under cover.

I use swisvax seal feed, also protects and conditions rubber and makes it look like new

Hi Scott, we have been here nearly a year now, so glad you found us.

You can get 3 in 1 non sticky silicone spray from Halfords, great on window seals and seatbelts that dont return.

You need to do the runners but most importantly, the horizontal window scrapper that goes across the top of the door metal work, this is where they tent to stick.

Thank you all for your kind welcome, and the excellent advise on frozen windows. One can of 3 in 1's finest silicone lubricant will be bought today!! I will await the comments from the office upon my return!!! Then all I need to do is find the beast under the blanket of snow and ice it is currently wearing.

Cheers

Scott
