So I'm looking at doing 4000kms annually on the GT.

Most important thing for me is not leave it sitting beyond a week without firing her up.

Not had my GS for a year yet but looks like i will have done around 3500 miles by the time August comes.

I am aiming for 2 - 3k per year for the following years. I try to make use of the car at least once a week, whether it actually benefits the car in any way i don't know but at least it keeps a smile on my face.

I leave my old 3200GT in storage for 5 or 6 months every year..It wants for nothing...I even preempt the service schedules

But then it gets ragged to death all over Europe in the summer

They don't go wrong parked up for a few months!

Not enough. The previous owner did about 10k miles in 8mths of ownership. I've managed about 1500 in the past 8mths (which included 2mths in storage, but even so its quite pathetic!).

Indeed, I'm now looking at a new daily drive and considering things such as an M4. When the performance and practicality are better, there have started to be a few whispers in the back of my mind about whether I should be keeping the Mas...although it'll definitely stay over the summer.

I'm in my fourth year of ownership and have done almost 20,000 MILES, been abroad to Modena twice, Paris once and recently to the isle of Wight:eek:. I've also driven it hard around tracks (remember the tranquil Silverstone parade lap?).
I drive mine to work on Mondays and back on Fridays but use the Seat in the week.
It gets the annual service by an indie for the stamp and I attend to most issues myself having an automotive workshop at my disposal but not during work time!
These cars are meant to be enjoyed not stuck in a garage. So get out there and drive them, if your worried about the residual cost then a Maserati is not for you.

But if you do take custody (we're merely the keepers) of my 4200 it'll be in better order than when I took it on and mechanically as good as any 4,000km a year garage queen.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant but these cars are not Ferrari 250 GTOs, they will lose money! Enjoy them !

38k in 4.5 years including the 6 months it was off the road for its conversion. I don't use her as much as I used to but the clock is still ticking over.

With such a modern usable package, my policy with the GT is use it or lose it so I do 7-8k miles per year and bear in mind I have two fun cars and only use either at the weekend that means very active weekends plus one European road trip each year.

I've done 8k miles in a little over 3 months in mine, which is a bit higher than usual. I expect to be around 15 - 16k miles per year. Its my only car.

Coming up to 5K in the first year - never expected to do more than 3 but any excuse (or no excuse at all!) needed to fire up the mighty V8 even if its the looooong way to the petrol station!

Bought mine with 42k in late Dec 2014, now 45.6k. So about 600 mile a month. This is not loads for her but shes not a garage queen either.

The car I'm buying is just short of 7 years old and has covered 49k which sounds about right. I intend to be doing much the same, as good as it is to look at I would rather be driving it than looking & admiring it

About 16k miles in three years, so 8-9k km per year. My use has been in line with what it had done before I got it.

11,000 miles a year for last two years since I've had it. Used daily to get around for work and it seems to run better and better. Sadly a lot of that is motorway cruising. Previous two owners had only done 26,000 in 5 1/2 years.
