When was the last time you thought a chesty cough was a good thing?
That rather depends on who's chest is being jiggled around by it.

It all points back to the original heard immunity concept, that has never really gone away. Get out there, catch it, survive or don’t survive, it’s up to you. Which is basically true, it’s up to you ! I do reckon if I really wanted to catch Covid I could go out tomorrow and ensure I got it. But I choose not to by taking relevant precautions, even then its not guaranteed that you won’t catch it and possibly die from it. Over Christmas the public are being given the opportunity to make a personal decision. The outcome will speak for its-self, but unfortunately I think the result will be fatal for many. But it will help the economy, it all depends on your priorities. But the bottom line is, it’s up to You.Yep......like they will stick to any restrictions in Scotland for Hogmanay....
I can’t understand the reasoning behind letting loads of people mix over Xmas....deepest darkest winter, everyone indoors, pubs etc, homes, travel home, mix with another 3 families....
Graphs upward again I suspect.....
Totally agree, i/ we have had it. Been for meals x3 since March, visited 1 set of friends..we’ve basically not mixed with anyone since Feb, apart from work, which is where I’m certain I got it..It all points back to the original heard immunity concept, that has never really gone away. The Politicians and the Press (and the Public - that's US) all run about waving their arms and shouting, while the scientists, medics, engineers, manufacturers and project managers just get on with doing good work. Thank goodness.
Basically I think the whole thing of 3 bubbles is totally unworkable.
They’d be better off telling everyone to stay in on their own!
