I can confirm that the lady who serves the hot dogs in the kiosk at Billund airport does not speak a word of English....I've tried Denmark, was ok but not me, bit boring, Ireland, I do like, but not supercar-friendly and generally expensive. Now nominally Luxembourg, liking it so far COVID permitting.
In Denmark I wanted to fit in and learn Danish (free lessons) but it was impossible, since everyone and I mean everyone spoke perfect English. Ireland is like UK 2.0 but so far LU/BE is a nice mix of being a nice place and and being a challenge, since French is the main language and you need to speak some at least which is the challenge part for me.
Je me casse....
I love Ireland even with the extra expense and the children absolutely adore it - happy to pay a bit more in daily expenses as that is more than offset by the house price differential. Smaller house and mortgage in the UK too much bigger and no mortgage here but you have to be outside Dublin. Then there is university costs with two girls 11 & 12 likely to want to go in a few years time the fixed costs here are another saving.

Ah, the propaganda agency thinly disguised as a news channel. Met with them a few times years ago. Hmm.
Nor on the Tour de France (built up areas)......but now they’re having loads....Having just come back from North Wales, I can confirm that social distancing is non-existent there, so are face masks, and they don't seem to have many cases......
Make of that what you will.
So what?Hmm. Accords quite closely with my opinion, and therefore makes me deeply suspicious.

In other information I see an peer reviewed study estimates that infections at the peak (so far) of the pandemic in the UK were quite possibly 3 times higher than recorded.

According to Dr John Campbells daily blog on YouTube, there is a growing view that in the UK, the actual number of daily infections at the so called peak of the pandemic was running at 5 times what was being reported because the sad fact is that the UK didnt have a robust process or system in place to really capture the data in the right way. We still dont and unless all 66,000,000 people in the UK are tested, we will never know the true extent of the virus spread.Hmm. The day I stop love being challenged is the day I die,
