Further good news today:

'Giving high-dose Vitamin D to coronavirus patients when they are admitted to hospital could cut deaths by 60 per cent – double the benefit of the best current drug, new research suggests.'

Specifically calcifediol. Needs to be administered before admission to ICU.

What are the advantages if you take it before you even get COVID. Irrespective, I assume that’s the price gone up now.

Seems to have some kind of protective effect. Price seems to be pretty stable. I've not been tracking it, but it's hardly high, as it were.

It’s now over a year since I quite innocently started this thread while having a beer and a pangolin burger in a bar in Yangon on my homeward rotation to U K. I am still here in the UK, and my back to back has been stuck there ever since. That is because they closed borders and stopped all international flights, even regional travel was stopped for almost eight months, to date their deaths due to COVID are 3189.

I’ve been banging on about “cycle thresholds for weeks and weeks - Seems the WHO have just realised the TOTAL folly of their flawed approach and issued new guidance regarding testing.
.....................
Expect new infected case numbers to plummet in coming weeks as cycle thresholds are dramatically cut......not that they’ll still tell you what level they are using,

Will this miracle reduction in infections be credited to vaccinations.......

Heard this months ago, most of the family have been taking it for a while now.
Same here. We've been taking 3000iu's daily since March 2020 after a chap called Dr John Campbell (on Youtube) was waxing lyrical about how important it is for the immune system. I mentioned it to my GP last week and he said that very few people living in the Northern Hemisphere get sufficient Vit D3 from sunlight. So taking supplements is definately recommended. UKG do recommend taking 400iu's daily but this is way insufficient. If in doubt get a blood test via your GP.

Yup, that about sums up the govt incompetence and mixed messages of just how dangerous this all is.

Even now, they have drawn up a list of 33 of the most likely potential mutant spreader countries in the world.....”the red list” and are happy for all those flying in to the UK from such to mingle in planes, baggage halls, restaurants, toilets, customs, etc etc with others from safe non”red list” countries, before being led away to a hotel.

I’m sure that quarantine strategy will work really well in keeping out these covid variants.

Mine came through this morning from the Acutely vulnerable distribution. I'd already been taking it for quite some time. Every little helps
Mine too. Nice to get a freebie for a change lol
Also, I'm currently on a 3 week night shift rotation where I don't see any daylight for 22 days straight, so a boost probably needed.
