Most of BA's fleet of 747s were long past their expiry date anyway. I never enjoyed using them as much as their 380s or Dreamliners (other than in the bubble, emergency exit row, A or K window seats).

Totally agree surely now is a good time to focus on health care and issues that should have been sorted along time ago.

Interesting. it rather looks like the current (and previous) death numbers are inflated due to it being impossible to recover from COVID19. sigh

Dying with rather than dying of?

Probably a little of both of those but rather more worrying dying after. If you were tested positive with COVID19 in February and had a heart attack on Tuesday, guess what.....

Clearly that's an extreme example.

And it looks like the massive spike of cases after Super Saturday wasn't

It should be higher if you count excess deaths.

Yeah, that's an interesting point. There are definitely excess deaths. Question is 'What from'

However, it seems pretty clear (at least to me, happy to be convinced otherwise) that the count of 'COVID deaths' over reports those that have died from COVID 19.

[/QUOTE Masks do, and have done since day one made a difference. Irrespective of what our so called experts have said. Have been compulsory in so many countries since March, countries with twenty times less deaths than here. We didn’t even have sufficient masks for our NHS at that time. No wonder they were not promoted back then.

I‘ve no idea what a frist offence is unless it’s the french National pastime of ‘one off the wrist‘. I’ve been saying for years we needed to wear a mask when in La france, but that was so as we didn’t catch anything gallic.

It was a typo. Fist offence. That’s the one where you don’t take your watch off first.
