It's quite hilarious in that it calls the virus the CCP(Chinese Communist Party) virus instead of Covid19. It has a timeline of events, the first cases were in December and the Chinese found that it was a new virus, sequenced it in the lab, issued warnings in Wuhan and told the WHO on the 31st. Not really a delay for a brand new disease. Because it was new there seems to be a lack of understanding of how it spreads. So this rag undermines itself.

Clear to me that relaxing the lockdown measures is purely a political decision. The body language and what both scientific experts were saying today gave me the impression that they are distinctly uneasy with relaxing any measures at all. So watch this space...
The R value really hasnt changed that much over the last 4 weeks. We are also have the highest death rate in the world now per million people, so I think we have an awful long way to go yet before we approach anything like some form of normality.

I think the media like to think so......

Apparently low death rate means you did everything right and are excellent leaders.

It's got nothing to do with any of the thousands of variables such as population density, age, general health, genetic make up, lying about the numbers etc.

Conversely if you have a high death rate you should be fired immediately.
