Saw it dickyb, not many around so maybe not badly priced if it's a good one, DickyG :)

very true, it looks like quite a nice one but I would imagine demand for Ghiblis is fairly low and that most people would want the GT or a Cup. I've seen a few similar early cars go for as little as £6k recently, mostly automatics but I wouldn't have thought that a manual would carry a premium, each version has its fans...

Hard to value as prices are all over the place....you can get one for 5/6k but would it be any good....then at the other end there is one for sale for 19k........get it checked out...it could be a good one.

yes, hmm...

M reg, with that badge shape, those headlights and the dummy fuel filler on the passenger side.

It would all depend on service history I think and whether the chains have been replaced on the cams. Old style rear suspension and ranger diff, though...

That's my twopence

good Lord!-£26K!!

the Boom-Years are back!!

what a colour that is, I've never seen one that colour before; interestingly, apart from the non-standard seats, it has had the active-suspension option deleted before manufacture; must have been a very special car at the time...

I'm not sure I've ever seen that missing in the past...

Very clean motor that, only the drivers seat letting it down but I suppose that is to be expected.

I think I would spend that kind of money on a 4200. TBH I don't think the bi-turbo era is remembered with that much fondness. Even the Maserati script on the back looks blocky and a bit low rent. Ok cars but things have moved on, a lot.

Hey thanks!

share the love- that's what I say...

hang on, we've all missed something here; Woody, what do you mean? Without being accusatory, should we worry about Fiorano Cars?

Wasn't the guy's problem that he had customer cars that he was selling for them, but then failed to pass on the proceeds of the sale ?

Because it is expensive and an unusual colour i might try and pop round next week and have a look. The steering wheel is not for me.

Thanks dickyb - I wondered what had happened to Rosso-Corsa... hadn't seen the ads in Auto Italia for a while...

But then I haven't bought Auto Italia for a while...

yeah- I'd like to go and see it if I was close enough...
