It is with great regret that I have to inform everyone of a loss to our marque.
Last night I spotted what I thought was a Black 4200 in Mold. It turned out it was actually Rob in his 3200.....Sun glasses or I'm going blind !
That was at 5-20pm.
Today I paid a visit to Howard @ All Italia in Wrexham, one lengthy chat ensued.......he has 2 3200's.....blah blah blah......Whilst talking about my restoration, he slips in "Have you given Rob a call ?"........Nope...."Suggest you do !"........why ?........"Just call him".
Off to Rob's house.........This is where it all goes sickly..........
One Black 3200gtm verse a lamppost = wrote off car !!!! This happened @7-20pm.
So ladies and gentlemen there is now one less 3200 on the road........If anyone wants any parts PM and I'll give you run down and when Rob has stopped being sick, his number.
He was a little silly.......traction control turned off !!!! Has some good things on it......like a set of Larini's, TB refurbed, will give full run down to all interested, as he's not quite overcome the loss yet.
Sorry wheels are now on way to my pad :p

The good thing is no-one was injured in any way......lampost snapped completely.

RIP another 3200gt

Hes not the first nor last to be caught out.....esp in the 3200...regardless of how good a driver...if not on a track chances of recovery slim to none

A salutary lesson to us all................it is the one thing we say to new 300 buyers....be careful in wet, at roundabouts and that button effectively stays on.....

As long as Rob ok........main thing.

Sad to see another meet its end.

Ditto, the most important thing is nobody was hurt, the car can be replaced, our Rob can't

Depending upon the impact I would be interested in the rear lights, cut off with the metalwork around them and the boot lid and loom.

It's for a little project I am planning in the future

I can spend alot on these bits but if Rob is interested in a part of his car living on, get him to PM me.

Well something to think about anyway.

So, of any of you were building the ultimate coupe based car what's on the wish list:

4.7 V8 but with alloy 4200 plenum
Boomerangs
Fuji Bianca
Red alcantara MVC interior
GS gloss black wheels and red callipers
FD lowering and stiffening kit
Aftermarket media unit
AP racing brakes

Have I missed anything?

Went to see Rob last night, poor chap had one slip up in a lovely car. Hardly a stone chip on the whole car. It has the whole rear end intact so surely someone's going to have those lights.......Matt???
