Anyone know how the screw works on the F1 reverse lever?

I need to dismantle my F1 control but can’t undo the reverse lever. The screw is completely stuck - a nearby engineering firm couldn’t undo it either. one option is to cut it off & buying a Hill Engineering one (as pic). But need to understand the screw - is it a separate screw that can be taken out of the black handle or is it part of the lever. (ie can I cut it off, replace the piece (in pic) and get a new long screw to reattach the handle?)

Definitely for the 4200 / GS (but the GS is mounted differently). 3200 never had this type of lever.

I couldn't undo mine when I changed to the Hill engineering one, with carefull use of a dremell I had to cut the old gate into several pieces, and I was able to reuse the old screw afterwards.

Thanks Jass. I ended up doing the same - cut it off with a dremel and bought a new one (and screw) from Hill. No idea why the screw wouldn’t turn.
