Anyone else’s wife driven off with the trickle charger still plugged in?

As above, I’m just passing Mars now, which is closer to earth than I was...:eek::rolleyes::1408:.. still as she says ‘Accidents happen and no-one died’.

I need to reverse out and would have to step over the charger and ignore it
Back when I used to reverse into the garage, I did manage to drive off leaving the Ctek connected - realised pretty quickly though and no harm done.
Now drive forwards into the garage and have to pass the charger on the way to the driver's door - would be pretty hard to ignore.

I’ve done this more than once... I’ve now moved where my CTEK is on the back wall so it’s easier to spot..,

Yup, did it on a Pork 996... trickle charger attached at the front... reversed out of the garage still attached... I even had a sign made to remind myself sitting on the driver’s side door handle! DUH

A friend's wife would like to point out that if you forget to disconnect the ctek before firing up the fuse in the comfort connector may blow. In the unlikely event anyone would be foolish enough to do so it's a 15 amp fuse.

A wife of another friend observes 'Really? It's never blown when I do it'....

I have done this once with the CTEK plugged in

Amazingly, the 3 ping plug was pulled out of the walk socket, but NOTHING (nothing!) was broken and everything still works. How lucky am I?! o_O
