Just bought my first Maserati. Its a 4.2 2009 car which has only done 4000 miles and I am thoroughly enjoying it I must say.
Couldnt quite stretch to a 4.7 but that might come or would a DMS upgrade take me nearly there ???

Would love the S side skirts and rear spoiler , is this feasible and at decent money ?

Hi George and welcome lovely car mate.

You could get DMS to run their magical fingers over it and could expect nearer 450BHP which I think is more than the GTS at standard, but as I see it, the brakes on the 4.2 struggle with all the weight, so if I had a 4.2, I would upgrade the brakes first, might be worth seeing what Formula Dynamics have to offer.

George, another member off here up-graded his GS brakes...Lozcb, hes not on the forum to day, but maybe search for brakes and see if you can spot his thread, worthwhile doing some research on the forum though, and pick a few brains for costs and options.

Some info off the thread MLC, from Loz....people have noted 10% extra miles per gallon.

Spoke with Rob the owner just now , were getting there negotiation wise, i can genuinely say that he is very customer care orientated , been in the game for 16 years and relies to the tune of 70% of his business as REPEAT business , works closely with some main dealers and does many cars before they are delivered to their new prospective buyers

Spoke regarding any problems and as suspected they offer a FOC remap should it get corrupted , he says that its the least common on Ferrari and Maserati's,

Added feature is and wait for it , they have tuned many cars with the FD DBW they can take this into account and adapt the programme accordingly to keep the throttle respose the same or can increase it if required , they can also replicate the same effects as the drive by wire effectively by adjusting the programme so negates the need for one , and it increases the speed of the gear change aswell

On talking price which is not to be mentioned on here , we are very close , altho he was reluctant to drop any further than what he originally quoted to NIck , but we are getting there slowly , i offered the option of 2 prices one to include the dyno test and one without ,

Views and thoughts and more questions please , he is reasonably keen that this should come about but his first thoughts are obviously his existing reputation and future business not be affected
