Hi all,

My name is Ton and I live on the other side of the channel.
Since two weeks I am the proud owner of a lovely '01 Sebring Blu 3200 GT. And, oh boy, my life has not been the same since...

Amazing!

Welcome Ton,

Great humor, support and friendship to be had on this forum... Your car sounds lovely, let's see some pic's soon. Nothing quite like the smile you get from a Maserati!

Hi Ton and a warm welcome to the forum. Really good to hear that you're still smiling after your first two weeks of ownership. As Dem mentions, the smile can easily become permanent.

Hope you find any information you need, but if not, just ask............. oh and photographs are always nice. We do like a good photograph! :D

Cheers, Miles.

I am pretty new to the scene, so I can't tell you that much yet.
But that might all change soon. :)

Two weeks ago was the first time for me that I ever drove a Maserati. And it just swept me off my feet.
I am still smiling when I think about it.
She will go in for a major service and new belts in two weeks. After that she will be ready for the summer. :)

Ton, let us know what prices are like for work to your 3200 in Belgium......have a look at this link....get some quotes for service etc prices if you want...cheap return on ferry and you could save 100s of Euros!

I have asked two dealers and two specialists for a quote. The price range was from €2800 to €1350 for a major with belts, but without valves.
The best known specialist in NL is Franco. It is a 2 hr drive for me to get there, but I think that it is worth it.
He quoted me the best price, and has 27 years of experience on Maserati's.

I thought about bringing the car to the uK for a service. The £ is very low against the €. But the total costs of bringing the car there, spending the night and drive home would be about equal to the costs that I am making now.
But I did look for prices on the websites of Verdi, DK Engineering and some others. :)

Good to see you've done some research plus have found a recommended independent garage.....:)....lots of things cheaper in UK for Eurozone buyers at the minute!

I am looking for an original Maserati cover for the 3200, and was for the above mentioned reason hoping to find one in the UK. But there seem to be none available. :(
Of course I could order one new, but that is a tad expensive.

Thanks!
An original one would be nice.
But any good fitting blue cover with wing pockets and a Maserati logo would do just fine I suppose. :)
