Slightly off topic not looking to sell the GTS - but does anyone have a 458 in the garage alongside as well, looking to add and want somthing with a little more power for the track. If so what cons do you find for the 458

The forum members who have one seem to love them. Not heard any bad things at all.
Stunning cars. MCS and morebeans will fill in with real world experience I am sure.
I considered one but it didn't pass my 'tescos test' and I can't afford two supercars and a daily.
If you get one let us know how you find it

Driven one and they are amazing, dynamic and rapid. The way they turn in is jaw dropping. Get one!

Would have a 458 in a heartbeat, not heard of any issues, speak/PM Voicey maybe as he will know the lowdown on these cars having serviced many.

You're edging towards an ideal garage there - the four seat sillycar plus a two seat silliercar means you should generally have something suitable.

Almost Adam, possible McLaren too - problem when you build the bigger garage is the choices of what to fill it with vs garage junk I also drive my cars they don't sit there doing 800-1000 miles a year

the 458 is on my list too, but a 12C spyder or almost new 570s are in the same price range...

Personally, I'd have a remapped 12C spider rather than a 458 coupe and, tbh, I'd also rather have a Hurican than a 458 as well.

I'd go for the 12C spider if the cash to maintain it wasn't an issue. They look fantastic and apparently drive like nothing an earth. Sound terrible, though.

I've driven the 458 too and it's a very nice thing. But I find these type of sports cars are too loud (in shape, not volume) for me, I prefer the more subtle. Perhaps a dark grey one. I'd have a Huracan over it though, also dark grey. I just prefer it. I don't like McLarens (shock horror, you say) particularly. They're just too clinical. Where's the soul? I get them, and I fully understand why people like them, just not for me.

Of all the Ferrari's, I'd have the FF thanks. But then you wouldn't need the sensible GTS.

I'd also consider a 911 GT2 or GT3 Clubsport. They are amazing drives and hold value so so well.

Agreed Adam. They are a major event to drive, brutally quick, although as you say, the noise is a massive disappointment.

It's that fake turbo noise (or the hairdryer on wheels) Ideally would be a 458 Speciale but at 350/400K and you can't really drive them and rack up the unless you take a big hit

You can pick up a 430 scuderia for mid 150s. Great cars.

Shake your teeth out though, apparently. Even if you do still have all your own. The 12C does at least glide like a Roller in comfort mode (even if it sounds dull). I'd be minded towards a 650S with a warranty and sell it 6 months before the warranty lapsed. They're not far off £150k and if I was a betting man I'd say will be pushed further south by time and the extraordinary 720S.

The 458 is Ferrari back at its best or near it. The 360 and 430 never appealed to me after owning a 355, but I'd find it hard to look beyond a 458.

The Huracan is interesting and I'd certainly take a close look at one. But suspect it may be too Audi (RS4 owner here, so that's not really a slight).

The early McLarens do not appeal to me at all. Too Porsche. The latest ones (570?) are better, but doubt will compare price wise.

I think a 458 or Huracan would make a great partner to your GT.

The 458 is hands down the best car I have ever owned! The handling is unreal and after fitting a remote exhaust valve I never missed the sound of my MC shift! Furthermore it has appreciated around £20k since I bought it around 14 months ago. I had a Hurcan for a while too but it was not as special as the 458 even though it was faster there was something missing and it lacked a true supercar feel (was very Audi!) and was depreciating like a falling brick. I have sold that but am taking delivery of an Avantador S shortly which is really exciting me! The Mclaren's from 650s onwards are great but avoid the 12c. I also had an Aston Martin DB11 which was very disappointing - squeaking brakes, rattles, electrical glitches after 800 miles!

Let me know if you have any specific questions and I'll try to help.

PS - Lots of people compare the Mclaren 12c to a 458 but in reality it's quicker off the line but absolute garbage in handling. Look at this (and these people can drive!!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTPdfZ8nqc4&t=189s

By the way, I just heard about a £7k service on a 12C. My eyes are watering. McLaren: thank you, but no.
