I'm going to have to do one of my front's to have any hope of passing the MOT next month and with the demise of SI I guess I will be doing it myself :(

Was going to try one of the Chinese and see how long it lasts!

These no doubt all come from the same place but at least this one is UK sold with a 2yr Warranty (be interesting to see how that pans out)

Just something I've noticed on the pics of all these Chinese ones, is where the cable goes to the sensor doesn't seem to be 'heat shrunk' properly.
So just make sure that's done or it's well taped if you don't have heatshrink.

I’ve had the ABS/ASR Lights come on mine twice recently but on both occasions when I got out of the car all 3 brake lights were still on (ignition off & key out)
I’m thinking brake switch sticking & wondering if these two scenarios are connected?

Check your under boot floor for water. A driver in the other place had a similar issue with his brake lights...

If the car is a F1 the brake switch is used as part of the ECU inputs - If stuck on you would possibly get gear select issues.

Can't argue, but can't really construct a reason why *when running* the brake would interfere with shifts. But that doesn't mean it's not true!

Thanks for suggestions guys but it’s a ZF gearbox so not so sure now, but seems a coincidence as when it has happened the brake lights also stayed on?
