It's amazing how the past 2-10 years has shifted sport in the UK (with exception to the football team) we've gone from constant losers obsessed with living in the past to current day winners. The Olympics was obviously a huge turning point. But also Murray at the US Open and Wimbledon. Wiggins in the Tour de France. The Lions in Oz. It's changed the perception of the country of how the UK does in Sports, from losers to winners.
Seems odd that people are so willing to put down Murray's achievement. The number of points where there were 20+ full speed, full force rallys was shocking and incredible - some 30+ shots! Murray never let up, he made the court look small he was chasing everything down and getting it. Astonishing! He made Djokovic change his game in order to try and beat him. To force the World No.1 to play a different game is quite something. Djokovic was reverting to Chip and Charge to try and win points! In Murray the Uk has actually got one of the World's Best tennis players, it would not surprise me if he won a lot of Slams.
