My thoughts too. At that price I'm not desperate for a buyer, better if someone pops round, test drives, gives me cash and clears off with my ex-P&J. Shipping agents, foreign counties etc just complicate things.

This should be an easy sale at this price (It's £3995 on all the other sites)... in theory! Staying away from 911s until it's sold though, just in case it doesn't shift quickly!

You were involved??!!

Ill read it later....

In one of them dem yeah , there's loads on the site Dem ,

but this was a money scam you know the normal thing , well we sent pics of £30k in a brief case and altered airline tickets as per the arrangement to meet them in Dubai , we also had some expats in Dubai airport waiting in the arrivals lounge ,they called us immedietly the arranged flight had landed and then we called the scammers who were also in the arrival lounge waiting for us to bag our (so called money) , we called to say that we had been pulled to one side in immigration and were being questioned about why we had £30K in cash and that we were going to be taken to the downtown police headquarters to be questioned , as soon as we were out we would call them again, meanwhile the (expats at the airport) were photographing them on the phone to us in the UK , quite funny really

Anyway to cut a long story short an hour later we called them to say that we were being put on a plane straight back to the UK , and that they did not believe our excuse that the money was for a friend of the family who was in dire straights and needed the money for medical reasons , and that the Dubai police didn't believe us and thought the money was for narcotics so they were going to confiscate it untill the so called family friend turned up to collect it , and they would need a name to confirm collection , whats your name my mate asked the scammer and you will need some ID and the monies yours

You can imagine what must have been going through the scammers mind Dem , all that money sitting in a police station less than 2 miles from the airport and all he (they) had to do was present himself there with his ID and he could walk away with £30K ,

At the same time we had emailed the Police in Dubai with copies of over 40 emails from the beginning of the scam , and now we could supply them with photo's of the gang , or at least part of it and a real name with ID , even better was that he was going in to the Police station to ask for his money hahahha im chuckling coz i remember it so well

We got an email 3 days later from the Dubai police saying that they had someone in custody and he was helping them with their enquiries, guess greed got the better of him in the end

Benny, Wollworths is only on line...your bottom will have to be on the www!

Had the same scam used with me for a Golden Retriver...they were going to fly it down to Bristol on one of their regular dog delivery flights...and all I needed was top send them my address, postcode date of birth and bank details...yehhhh.
