You guys crack me up, a GT is up at £3500 one owned by me so good buy, its a steal and you lot bang on about color

But the GT is the one Alfa that they forgot to style, yes it is big inside and has a stunning boot for a coupe - but outside it is a shape that only it's mother could love.

The Alfa GT is a great car, handling, brakes, turn in, feel, seats, great hifi and I love its @rse.

The bits that let it down is the dash and the front end. If they had been brave and put the triple 159/Brera face on it and spend another £300 on the dash development and re designed the front end bushes they would have been onto a winner...but then nobody would have bought the 159/Brera I suppose...and I think they knew that!

Absolutely Matt.

Turned up at my local Alfa dealer c2007 intending to buy a Brera - and drove away in a GT.
I wasn't the only one.

GT a really good car of its time. Yes, old tech re 159/Brera but without the design comprises on space etc. Had already had 2 x 156 and 1 x 147 so interior (and chassis) familiar, and old tech but loved the two years I had with the GT - JTD as well. Drove V6 and preferred the diesel.

I'll get my coat...

I had a GT for a couple of years. Great car. Looked lovely, handled really well and was a practical 4-seater with a massive boot. It had all of the usual GT niggles but overall a cracking car. Mine was a Blackline edition in diesel flavour.

I had the 3.2 V6. Personally I felt it was nose heavy and really struggled to grip when pressing on.

Mostly loved it, though. Especially the boot!

I'm actually debating one of these as a cheap hack whilst betwixt cars in the summer months.

Considered one of the last diesel GT's as a company car. Unfortunately the BIK was ridiculous! Not very green regarding emissions.

Mine rattled as well. I lubed the plungers (ooh err!) adjusted the parcel shelf, turned up the sounds - all to no avail. Then I changed one of the gas struts which seemed loose for a brand new one and silence ensued.
