Time for a quiz! On occasion my alarm just won't shut up. It's not regular but when it does go off I have to remove something. No prizes for the correct answer:)

Odd. (FWIW, it never happened under my stewardship.)

Could try fresh batteries in the fobs to see if that helps?

Off topic from owls and ***** cats , there was a guy in the states that used to park his car at the front of his house , right outside his kitchen window, every time his missus used to use the microwave it set his alarm off , he cured it by getting a diivorce .................expensive fix

Nice try but no. If I leave my iphone or iPad in the car the alarm goes off! I've traced it to the wifi connection that I have on the phone, it uses a frequency very close to that of the alarms internal motion sensor.

Useful the Italians they even think of a facility to tell you that your phones been left behind

Aha - yes - that explains why sometimes the alarm just goes off on mine and other times it's fine (on a 2005 4200). The other day I resorted to leaving it unlocked to resolve the problem, and of course also reached in and took out the iPad before I left - not wanting to leave it in an unlocked car!!

Good deduction - thanks for that.

Cheers
Ben
