A large part of europe doesn't even use the pin side of the technology , so it doesn't surprise me that a lot of the card theft here ends up being done abroad , wish we could go back to old fashioned cash , now i wouldn't of left that in the car would i

Your right it should Frank, and may well be , but if you remember about a year ago i posted about those two Romanians that got caught in front of me at Asda in Biggleswade they had a replica front of the cash point which was a card reader , stuck very professionally to the front of the cashpoint, apparently they let around 20 or 30 people use the cash points , then take off their bit copy the info onto cloned cards and then go on a cash withdrawing spree all over town , fortunately these two got caught , probably claimed refugee status and persecution , got offered £3K by some liberal home office official to return home , only to return again weeks later durrr do i sound cynical

The organised crime perpertrated by the eastern europeans (including) ex russian states could have been halted by one man who had a good solution to the problem unfortunately he committed suicide in 1945 and then got burned , the other guy who could have cracked it Maggies no2 our dear old Norman lost power got old to quickly and is now happily retired , what a shame

bastards - sounds like rotten luck- agree with woody, you shouldn't feel guilty. I've often thought that cutting car thieves thumbs off would be an excellent way to discourage them.....

the most annoying thing is you dont know who done it....you think, was it my neighbour? was it the youths having a smoke in the street? you get suspicious of anyone

Really sorry to hear this Loz. Thieving little flockers! Though I can see Si's thinking, I'd personally cut off their feet!

Bit of a worrying trend at the moment!

Loz, have you had any offers of victim support yet?? I've had three letters from them but nothing from the rozzers.

Did I read previously that you had a security camera?
