I had the dash and console covered with genuine alcantara, same as oem, I'm having the steering wheel done at the moment, making it into new shape (fatter) and flat bottomed then using alcantara and perforated leather with red stitching(oem thread) the big job is the seat centres but booked in for 10th June ...........looking forward to the results, if I'm happy with everything then happy to recommend the company.

Very nicely done and a huge improvement over standard. It'll avoid the curly peeling trim for which these interiors are well known. I stuck some of mine back on again only yesterday.

Phil - there's a place I think in or near Bromley (the Essex one, not Kent) which Lancaster has used to do exactly this work. I'll dig out the name if you're interested.

Looking at mine they've already made it fatter and are also shaping bottom support (at 6 o,clock position) to replicate the later wheel, (Iain brought this to my attention as he is looking to upgrade his as discussed in previous threads) I will attach some pics

Well done, that really does look fantastic. It's one of the best things about the Strad to my eyes and you have nailed it on your GTS - great work!

Hold on im lost bottom pic is your steering wheel? Top one isn't yours but is what you want it to look like? Is you haven't had yours done yet?

Just genuinely interested in this

EDIT wheels are on different sides so my thoughts above are true?

I'll be amazed if they can get the bottom wheel to look like the top one, even the thumb grip areas are different and would need some sort of moulding from new to match the circumference of the rest of it??

Yes, it's Being moulded at the moment that's what the earlier picture is, if you study it, it's already fatter and flat bottomed

If there is enough interest we need to buy a wheel (used) send it away for retrim and then when it arrives remove old one and send back to retrimmer that way we can drive our cars in the mean time etc...

If I can get my wheel to look like that too one, Alcantara included to match my interior, and a decent cost, I'm very interested.

Nice alcantara interior.

Have you considered having the headlining done (if it's not already). One aesthetic thing I wish mine had...
