I know we are in the minority, but i was wondering how many other GT's are out there??

Luke, have fun with the Sport button but you won't find many that mess with the MSP on the road... It will bite if you do, maybe not today but....!

I'm not sure on production numbers but it's understood to be around 10% of all 4200's produced as far is I'm aware.

Luke

I am one of the rare elite. Long live stick shift.

Be aware with sport button you can spin wheels even at 80 in the rain so be careful with that right foot. In the dry you are fine. I wouldnt switch off msp at this time year. Good luck with that :)

Cheers

Have fun.

Luckily our famous WA summer is in full swing over here, so not much rain to worry about for the next 5-6 months... I do er on the side of caution with the MSP anyway, but it sure is fun to let her loose when the conditions (and safety) allows for it!

Does the SPORT button in the GT only affect the skyhook or does it have a horsepower effect as well?

The Sport button will firm up the ride, increase throttle response and back off the traction and open the exhaust valves in a GS and of course quicken the Gear shifts in a CambioCorsa.

The improved throttle response is what i was feeling then.

I went for a run today out on some nice undulating country roads and was quite impressed with the handling and grip these cars have!
