Not really a fan of the 3200 bonnet, its nice on the turbo car but I like the bulge of the 4200 bonnet. The rear lights however...There was a company in Germany (Auto Racing Technik I think) who did a kit to fit 3200 lights into a 4200. I.e. a moulding rather than the fab work.
There was a French GS on the centenary trip with a 3200 bonnet and lights that looked particularly brilliant.

This may have been discussed before.. but I came across this photo.
Anyone know who did this work / owned the car, or where parts were sourced from....perhaps someone on this forum?
I’m thinking with a 3d printer and original rear clusters as a pattern... it wouldn’t be too big a job to create a slot in - out better looking rear end for my spyder...
Appreciate any insights guys.
Thanks in advance..

Dear god the front grill... looks like it had a dislocated jaw.I think this is the german company that will mangle your 4200 for you. They do a rear light conversion kit with boot lid light unit and all the fittings. No idea of cost though.

Right company they are in Australia. Same people that made the GS / early 4200 metal cup holders that fitted to the seat rails.
Link above but they no longer list the mouldings. If anybody was looking to do the conversion they may still have the moulds to make more.
Well I was half right, which is better than normal!
